Shinsuke Nakamura should not have to win the WWE World Title against Jinder Mahal at WWE SummerSlam 2017. It seems something weird, as he is one of the best in-ring performers. But there is still not any need to push the Nakamura into the WWE World Title Scene.
I am sure that the fans of Shinsuke Nakamura will not like my statement. But the match between Jinder Mahal and Nakamura will not prove much worthy. However, if the company booked John Cena against the Jinder Mahal then it will attract more viewers. John Cena still is a needle mover in the WWE, especially when he is compared to the guys who have not found their mojo on the WWE’s main roster.
Though it is not the Shinsuke Nakamura’s fault, WWE’s team has done a very poor job by putting him to the main event stardom at the main roster from the big fish of NXT. And this decision must be changed before his success as the top champion of SmackDown Live. Nakamura is a special performer and the guy like him need a special journey to go to the top.
Here Are Five Reasons Why Shinsuke Nakamura Shouldn’t Become WWE Champ At WWE SummerSlam 2017
1. His First Title Win Should Feel Special
- WWE teasing big entrance at WWE SummerSlam 2017
- 10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After WWE SummerSlam 2017
Is The Moder Day Maharaja is a big enough star to beat for Shinsuke Nakamura? Recently the win over Cena at the SmackDown Live is bigger than win over Jinder Mahal at the WWE SummerSlam 2017 for the Shinsuke’s career. Also, the man who is crowning as a top superstar in the WWE, that man must come after a prolonged journey with bumps in the road. WWE SummerSlam 2017 is too soon for him. If Shinsuke wants to get success as a champion that the WWE has to put him into great matches. The match will Mahal will not be a great match
2. Promos Are A Big Part Of Being Champion
Nakamura’s matches were telling the story when he was reigned supreme as When Nakamura reigned supreme as Heavyweight Champion of IWGP. And this is the main difference between the WWE and NJPW. At WWE character and promos mean more than the in-ring performance.
Shinsuke Nakamura has another big problem in WWE is that his native language is not English. At the podcast of Chris Jericho, It revealed that Nakamura can get by in conversation. However, The company has not believed in the Shinsuke’s ability to cut a blistering promo. Otherwise, by now, he would have done so.
If becoming WWE Champion, then Nakamura needs to talk. Short interviews, like with Cena, will not allow Nakamura to hold the title for a long time. At last, it seems that Shinsuke will not become the champion till the time, he and the company will not comfortable with his English.
3. He Needs More Of A Main Roster Journey
Nowadays the new faces are given title shots very soon. For example, Jinder Mahal also did not go on a long journey to become the WWE Champion. Like that Shinsuke Nakamura also got this opportunity very early. Thus Shinsuke Nakamura needs some interesting long journey before going into the WWE World Champion Reign at WWE SummerSlam 2017. If he won a Money In The Bank Match or a Royal Rumble before going into the World Title Scene, then it will be ideal.
4. Latest Feuds Have Been Lacklustre
Since Shinsuke joined the SmackDown Live crew after the WrestleMania, His with Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziglar and have been tepid at best and has been outright dull at worst. The idea was good to put Nakamura with the Ziglar but in the reality, this did not pan out.
At the Backlash event, this was the big failure to present Shinsuke Nakamura as the biggest thing in WWE. A little drawn out matches with Dolph Ziglar and Baron Corbin has done a little to inspire the WWE that they have got their golden tickets of Tuesday Night SmackDown Live. There is a lack of that one killer rivalry for Nakamura that will make the fans to sit up and take notice and realize what he has to offer.
5. Casual Fans Haven’t Really Connected With Him
If you had been seen the match between John Cena and Nakamura at the latest episode of SmackDown Live. Then you have witnessed the reactions of the fans on the winning of the Nakamura over the John Cena The audience was quiet when Cena left the ring. This is the thing to worry about.
No doubt Nakamura is a good performer, But in how many great matches he was involved in the SmackDown live? Not only this thing but also the company has done a shoddy job of explaining the arrival of Shinsuke Nakamura at the main roster. That’s why to the casual fans of WWE, who do not pay any attention outside the WWE, for them Shinsuke is only an over-hyped sensation and the person who has not set the world alight on the SmackDown Live since being promoted from NXT. This thing works as to hide the truth about the real talent of the Nakamura.
