10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After WWE SummerSlam 2017

The Superstar Shakeup of April 2016 between Raw and SmackDown Live was the biggest attempt by WWE to re-configure the talent roster of WWE Wrestlers. As a result, some superstar gets benefits like Jinder Mahal and some others are still struggling like Bray Wyatt. Now approximately four months are gone since last major reshuffle between SmackDown Live and Raw. And it looks like after WWE SummerSlam 2017 event, a second shake-up will take place. According to the Rumor Roundup, the format will be expanding.

The last event was exclusive to SmackDown and Raw. However, WWE SummerSlam 2017 event may bring NXT into the fold. This will help in transferring the struggling main roster stars to the third brand with a number of call ups. Completely different set of possibilities may be opened up than April. Another roster overhaul could feel premature. But However, there are plenty of potential benefits also.

Certainly, April’s Superstar Shakeup shook things up. But that did not cure all the ailments of the roster. WWE Raw and the SmackDown live yet remain rife with some misplaced and neglected stars. Changing the brand will not assure for good fortune, But if the WWE goes with the following moves after WWE SummerSlam 2017, then it will benefit both the company and the wrestlers.

Here are 10 rosters, which WWE must make after the WWE SummerSlam 2017.

1. Randy Orton To Raw

Randy Orton has a very weaker 2017 in-ring standpoint. His match with Bray Wyatt at House of Horrors nailed on as the Worst of the year honours. Also his feud with the Jinder Mahal have not gone much good. After the Punjabi Prison Match, The company has not tell about the next move for the Viper. Randy has been currently putting in least exciting matches and all wants to change Randy.

But also there is not any gurantee that if WWE send Randy Orton to Raw then the flames of Viper will reignite.  At SmackDown Live, he drags the show down with him. However if he moved to Raw then there is a need to keep himself away from Wyatt. And put him into the reigns with the Samoa Joe. This will results  in great matches.

2. Finn Bálor To SmackDown

WWE SummerSlam 2017

After winning the Universal Title at WWE SummerSlam 2016 event, he has to return that title because of his Knee injury and he returned to Raw in April after that injury. Then, at Extreme Rule he had given the chance to rejoin the scene of Universal Title again But that was unconsciously chocked by the Samoa Joe at the main event of that night. Thus most of his time was spent messing around the mid-card.

His last few weeks were filled by the clash with Bray Wyatt and Elias Samson. He will be in a good match at WWE SummerSlam 2017 event but after that, there will be nothing great left for Finn Balor at Raw. Also, it seems like that The Universal Title match at Wrestlemania 34 will be held between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

At SmackDown live, there is lack of top level babyfaces at this moment. Aj Styles is pre-occupied in US Title Division and the company has nobody to turn to outside of Cena. As he has a Free Agent Status and this gave him the facility to shift between the Brands whenever he likes. If Finn Balor is moving to SMackDown Live after the WWE SummerSlam 2017, then it will provide the Blue Brand a main event face. He may also be put into the reigns with Jinder Mahal.

3. Becky Lynch To Raw

WWE SummerSlam 2017

Backy Lynch is the wrestler who very much suffers in 2017 because of the way of the booking of the SmackDown Lives Women’s division. Following the draft of last year, she was the one who was on the verge of becoming SmackDown’s female ace. Backy is the most natural babyface of the company. Also, she is a perfect center piece of the women division. But there is a lack of individual focus, as a result, it hurts the greatness of Backy.

No doubt, Raw is not good in utilizing the full breadth of women’s division. However, they at least give their individual characters a chance to shine. If Backy is moving to the Raw after WWE SummerSlam 2017 event, then she will get spotlight to her own once again.

4. The Miz To SmackDown

WWE SummerSlam 2017

The Miz always features on Monday night Raw. He recently gains new allies in Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel and all things are going well at this time for him. However, Miz feels that there is a lesser version of performance he has than SmackDown. At SmackDown Live he was the most entertaining star. He was the blue brand’s most consistently entertaining act, and the recipient of an almighty career revival bolstered by his rivalry with Daniel Bryan. Now, Miz is just another guy on Raw, and that’s a shame. It seems that WWE would not want to shift Miz to the Blue Brand to soon but it will be a good idea.

5. Emma To SmackDown

WWE SummerSlam 2017

Emma lost her way in this year. When she had a potential feud with Dana Brooke then she stuck into the injury. As a result, she had been off television for six weeks. She returns in mid-June and she had been shunted back to the periphery of the division. Past some years were not good for Emma and it looks that she would not get any success on the Raw.

Last week, a squash with Nia Jax seen. As to her recent history, it seems that this will not result is a big push. If she will be moved to SmackDown then it will benefit both the company and the Emma. As she is a charismatic and capable worker. She will not match the level of Becky Lynch or Sasha Banks but her performance at NXT shows that she is much better now. And she deserves this opportunity to prove that.

6. Tye Dillinger To NXT

WWE SummerSlam 2017

Tye Dillinger joined the main roster in April with squashing Aiden English and Curt Hawkins in his first few weeks. He worked only in four televised matches since three months. Now WWE does not understand what to do with Perfect 10. So sending him back to NXT will help him to regain his importance. He is one of the most popular wrestlers of the developmental brand.

7. Gallows & Anderson To SmackDown

WWE SummerSlam 2017

Once again Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have fallen to the foot of the tag team totem pole. This former Tag team Champion Team has been overtaken by the Revival and the Hardy Boyz in the contender ship ranks for the Tag Team Title Match. And also another reign of Anderson and Gallows with the Tag Team Titles is not likely to happen. They have not been involved in any featured feud since when they lost at the WWE Wrestlemania 33.

That’s why The Club needs something new and moving them from Raw to SmackDown Live after WWE SummerSlam 2017 event will make some sense. As at SmackDown, they may be reunited with Aj Styles. This reunion will increase their screen time, and they will able to advance their characters in front of them who say them nerds.

The Tag team division of SmackDown Live is currently rebounding following the arrival of The New Day. But there is a need to use some another team. That’s why Gallows & Anderson will be fine for that as it will bring a fresh feud.

8. Dolph Ziggler To NXT

WWE SummerSlam 2017

Dolph Ziggler is the most washed up superstar today in the WWE. But since a couple of years, he is not going well on the main roster. He had a great feud on the main roster but now its time to send him to NXT. If he will be moved to NXT after WWE SummerSlam 2017 event then it will not make again great matches for Dolph Ziggler. But he can regain a sense of purpose.

9. Sanity To Raw

WWE SummerSlam 2017

According to the Rumor Roundup, if during WWE SummerSlam 2017 event, second Superstar Shake-up took place then WWE will call up some of the NXT wrestlers to the main roster. If this will be the case, then there will be many options available with WWE. But it seems that WWE will go with Sanity’s Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain. while talking about the women division than Nikki Cross will be a fine addition.

10. Zack Ryder To Raw

WWE SummerSlam 2017

Zack Ryder suffered a knee injury last year, as a result, The Hype Bros have not done much this year. After Zack Ryder’s come, it looks like that they may soon do break up. But nothing is clear right now. Whatever happened, But one thing is clear that Zack Ryder is not going to anywhere right now. He has gone to in-ring matches only for three times after his return in June.

Moving him to another brand will not cure his woes. But he can not fall much further right now. The main event scene of Raw is bloated but there has still lacked depth in the lower tiers. Zack Ryder can help to pad the WWE Intercontinental Division. And moving him to the Raw from the SmackDown Live will split The Hype Bros without even an over the long break up angle.
